ABOUT THE SPEAKER


Tim Gibbs is a PhD student at Oxford University, studying the politics of the Transkei since 1960 William Beinart. He has a Bachelors degree in History from Cambridge University, a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal, and has also worked for the International Labour Organisation in Geneva and the Institute for Public Policy Research, a leading UK-based progressive policy think tank.
