To apply for the MPhil (Research) course, applicants must submit a concept note and find a suitable supervisor - approved by PLAAS and the Faculty of Economic and Management Science - to develop a draft research proposal for admission.
Masters in Research candidates must complete the below admissions procedure:
- develop a concept note of your research, then approach a potential supervisor
- work with the supervisor to develop your concept note into a draft proposal
- receive confirmation advice that they can register at the University and register the research title with the Faculty of Higher Degrees Committee
- develop your proposal and resubmit it to Faculty of Higher Degrees Committee within a year of admissionl.
