Biography
Barbara Mwaura is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya actively practising Conveyance and Commercial law in Nairobi, Kenya. Currently she is a Senior Associate at Robson Harris Advocates LLP. Ensuring Clients are well advised and compliant in their property and commercial transactions by providing practical legal solutions that add value to their needs is what she is passionate about.
Some of her achievements include being awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the World Bank Group for contributing to the ‘Ease of Doing Business Reports for the years 2020 and 2021’ where she provided information on the effectiveness of land systems and processes when conducting land transactions and appurtenant challenges faced, thus contributing to the introduction of a digitalized land system dubbed “ardhi sasa”. Land being a finite resource, her mission is to contribute in the wealth of knowledge required to continuously shape and improve land policies in Kenya to ensure sustainable and inclusive land ownership and administration.
