Chileya Chiwele is a Community Development expert with a passion for women and children welfare specifically relating to housing finance, land tenure security, low-cost housing, financial literacy and basic Water, Sanitation and Hygiene provision.
Most of her work has had a primary focus on community mobilisation, land tenure, security financial literacy and digital finance and women and children in low-income communities. She has experience in Project Monitoring and Evaluation and case study documentation. She possess a Bachelors degree in Special Education with Geography. Other training includes Guidance and Counselling.
Her focus in the last 2 years has been supporting land tenure certificate acquisition, community mobilisation and financial literacy. She has been instrumental in facilitating public forums in which community members dialogue with civic leaders on issues pertaining land and other developmental areas and training community members in financial literacy and management.
Her key responsibilities in her role entails facilitating training, data management and Monitoring and Evaluation case study documentation.
