Augustine Fosu

Augustine Fosu is a PhD candidate on the Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies programme at the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) in the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. He holds a master’s degree from the same programme at PLAAS. He is also a graduate of BSc Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. His research interests are in customary land tenure, land administration, land reform, and housing, particularly in Ghana. His current research is on land reform and customary land administration in Ghana. He has worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Centre for Land Studies at KNUST. He has also taught in both primary and senior high schools as private school teacher and an intern respectively.
