Rachael Njeri Mugo is a Registered Physical Planner, a student, and an enthusiast in matters of Urban Planning with special focus on improving the livelihoods of the urban dwellers while harnessing the advantages of geospatial technology. I am currently serving in the capacity of a Principal Physical Planner with the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning in Kenya. My interests are in the areas of urban planning, land governance, GIS and RS all geared towards the realization of sustainable human settlements in the urban areas. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Planning and Development at Jommo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She holds a masters degree in Geospatial Information System and Remote Sensing from the same university, and an undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Maseno University.
