Biography

Pretty Maluka is a Parliamentary Researcher at Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature whose work is focused on policy analysis and conducting research on government programmes related to Agriculture, Tourism and Economic Development in Mpumalanga Province. Her research work is mainly used to advise Parliamentary Committees on how certain policies hinder or improve service delivery meant for the local communities. She enjoys learning new perspectives, ideas and arguments on how certain policies are implemented in South Africa and around the world. Although her academic background is based on Agriculture, she recently developed keen interests on conservation matters related to management of nature reserves. Her ultimate goal is to gain more insight in the field and further her studies on conservation related matters.
