Biography
Joy van Dieman joined PLAAS in 2012, but has a long working history at the University of the Western Cape having worked in Residential and Catering Services for seven and a half years. She is also well-travelled and spent a two-year working holiday in Britain, taking on various secretarial and administrative roles.
As an Administrator she provides administrative support for the research staff, manages travel and calendars. She has a vast amount of experience in event management of the many PLAAS events. Joy has a strong passion for youth social development.
