Biography
Tirsit Lisanework was born in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. In 2016, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Administration and Surveying from Bahir Dar University. Then, she received her Master of Science degree in Land Administration and Management from Bahir Dar University in 2018. She is certified in a higher diploma program in teaching in higher education.
She also took training on topics such as GIS based property taxation system software, SPSS and STATA software, Basic GIS etc. Since 2017, she has been working as a Lecturer and Researcher in Real Property Valuation at the Institute of Land Administration. Furthermore, she has been involved in national and international academic seminars, workshops and symposiums on areas related to land governance and administration. She extensively supervised undergraduate students’ research and project work on themes of real property valuation and land administration. In addition, she has been appointed as Chair of Real Property Valuation track since 2018.
